Marjorie May Fair is a Melbourne-based hairstylist, specialising in vintage and bridal hair.

The woman behind the chair

The craft of hairstyling had always intrigued Marjorie. Whilst other little girls growing up in the 90’s got their fashion inspiration from the Spice Girls or Alanis Morissette, Marjorie grew up idolising the likes of Doris Day, Lucille Ball and Grace Kelly. Through her teen years, she found herself adopting little fashion traits that these glamour beauties held, whether it be a flower in her hair, a vintage scarf around her neck or a pair of Mary Jane’s with a cute buckle.

Marjorie is trained in both modern and vintage styling alike, completing masterclasses with the likes of Bethany Jane Davies (VBP), Cate Kettner, Kristina Youssef (KYK hair), Cat Hughes and Yvana Sanders – all highly acclaimed hairdressers/ stylists spanning over the UK, LA, NZ and Melbourne.

With over 5 years experience in the beauty industry, she is all about making you feel at ease with yourself and in the eyes of an audience. She is also dedicated to giving time and space for you to live out a childhood dream or encourage a vision that appeared overnight.
